Test-site draft — owner and qualified UK legal review required before use with real customers. This page applies only to the isolated Tech Pro 247 WordPress test site. Version: test-2026-10-18-v1.
1. Who we are and website use
Tech Pro 247 LTD provides technology services. The business address, phone number and email shown on our Contact page should be used for enquiries and complaints. Website material belongs to Tech Pro 247 or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may use it for personal reference; please ask before republishing it. Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
2. Booking requests and approval
Submitting a form creates a booking request with a reference and a Pending Approval status. It does not confirm an appointment or authorise chargeable work. Staff will review the request, availability and any collection area before confirming arrangements. No online payment is taken through the booking form.
3. Device condition and pre-existing faults
Please tell us about known faults, prior repairs, liquid exposure, passwords or access limits relevant to the requested service. We may record the device’s condition at intake. A diagnosis may reveal faults not visible at booking. We will discuss any additional chargeable work and seek your approval before proceeding with it.
4. Risks during diagnosis and repair — device may stop working
Some devices have existing, intermittent or hidden faults. During diagnosis or repair, particularly where there is liquid damage, corrosion, a power-system fault or previously damaged components, those faults may worsen and the device may stop powering on. If this happens, we will document the circumstances, tell you what we found, explain available options and seek your approval before any additional chargeable work. A successful repair cannot be guaranteed. Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility to exercise reasonable care and skill or affects your statutory rights. This clause requires professional UK legal review before production use.
5. Liquid damage, corrosion and electrical faults
Liquid damage and corrosion can affect multiple components and may be progressive. Diagnosis and repair may take longer than first estimated. We will explain material findings and any revised estimate before extra chargeable work. We cannot promise that every fault will be found or that a particular repair will succeed.
6. Your data and backups
Back up important data before handing over a device where possible. Diagnosis, repair, replacement, recovery or erasure may affect stored data. Tell us if data preservation is a priority. We will take reasonable care when handling the device and data, but a recovery outcome cannot be guaranteed. Any proposed erasure requires a separately agreed scope. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Diagnostics, estimates and extra work
A diagnostic identifies the reported problem as far as reasonably practicable; repair is a separate step unless specifically agreed. Timescales are estimates, not a fixed minimum or guarantee. We will explain any diagnostic charge before you authorise it. An estimate may change if new faults, parts or work become necessary; we will ask for approval before additional chargeable work.
8. Charges and payment
The booking form displays any applicable appointment or transport charge. Local collection and return is £49.99 total when that route is offered; any repair quote is separate. No payment is taken online at request submission. Staff will confirm the scope, price, payment timing and method before chargeable work. A deposit or advance payment applies only if expressly agreed for that job. An invoice is due under its stated terms. The former blanket statements requiring both payment before work and payment on completion are not carried forward.
9. Cancellations and changes
Tell us promptly if you need to change or cancel. A charge for work already authorised and performed, or a disclosed diagnostic/collection charge already incurred, may apply where lawful and reasonable. We will explain any charge before applying it. Consumer cancellation rights, where applicable, remain unaffected; this draft does not determine every distance-contract exception.
10. Collection, delivery and uncollected devices
Staff will arrange collection or return separately; the form does not reserve a collection time. Please contact us before an unscheduled pickup so the device can be made ready. Any outstanding lawful charge will be handled under the agreed invoice terms. We will contact you about an uncollected device and follow the applicable legal process before any sale or disposal. An uncollected device does not automatically become Tech Pro 247 property after three months.
11. Repair outcomes, parts and warranty information
We will describe the work completed, parts fitted and any specific repair or manufacturer warranty when issuing the job documentation. A warranty does not remove statutory rights. We may decline work that cannot safely or reasonably be undertaken, including a device with evidence of unsafe tampering, and will explain the reason.
12. Your rights and complaints
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence. Contact us using the details on the Contact page if something has gone wrong; include the booking reference where available so we can investigate.
13. Data recovery and erasure
Data recovery is an attempt to retrieve agreed data from a specified device or medium; the amount or completeness of recovered data is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed. We will agree scope, price, handling and return arrangements before work. Data erasure requires a separately authorised method and scope. We will not claim a certified erasure standard unless the actual service and evidence support it.
14. Graphic design and other projects
For design or other project work, the written proposal or work order should identify scope, milestones, deposit, final payment, included revisions, delivery and intended usage rights. Additional revisions or scope changes require agreement on price and timing. Ownership and licensing of final work should be set out in that agreement. Consumer statutory rights still apply where relevant.
15. Privacy and changes
Our separate Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. We may update this page prospectively. The version linked and acknowledged when a test booking is submitted is recorded with that booking; later edits do not rewrite that evidence.
